We're starting 1 hour before the Reaping.
Once the Hunger Games start, I will not accept any new players.

Alder threw spear after spear at the painted wooden target on the wall, practicing for the Hunger Games. "This year" he thought "I'm going to volunteer. I know I can win." No one in his family had won the Games for many years. His sister was now too old to be reaped, and both his aunts died. He pulled the spears out of the target and went back inside to get ready for the reaping. "Good luck." His sister, Rowan, said as he went back upstairs. He knew what she meant. She meant she wanted him to be reaped. "Thanks." Alder replied with a fake smile. "I'll do my best."

Autumn sat on a tree branch, staring at the beauty of the forest. She had her knives if someone would kidnap her or something. Today is the reaping day Autumn thought swaying her legs a bit. She craved on the tree a line . Above it was written Hunger Games Reaping Autumn placed her head on the tree bark , closing her eyes

Ten minutes later, Alder dragged himself out the door into the center of District 2. It was a considerable hike, about a mile and a half. A couple kids were already lining up in front of the stage, and the Capitol's cameramen were in place. Alder signed in and took his place to the left of the stage, toward the back. The boys behind him were making bets on who would be reaped. He heard his name a couple times, but tried not to pay attention as he waited for the reaping to start.

Autumn heard the sound of a horn? It means that it's near reaping. Autumn hopped of the tree and ran to her house as fast as she can. Autumn quickly went where the 16 year old girls were standing.

The District 2 escort, Mimosa, skips to the center of the stage and greets the crowd in her usual high-pitched, childish tone. Alder let his mind wander as they played a 20 minute video about the Hunger Games and what the districts owe the Capitol and the like. When they finally got around to the reaping, even some of the more frightened kids looked like they just wanted to get it over with. Mimosa waltzed over to the two glass balls. "Ladies first, as always!" she giggled, fishing through the ball for a slip of paper.

In the midst of of 12 year old girls, Arrietty was trembling. Today was her first Reaping. She was absolutely terrified, and anxiously fumbling her fingers. Its okay, you aren't going to get picked, you're not going to get picked, she though, trying to reassure herself.

Autumn ran to the Central in her District. They took a blood sample from her. Autumn quickly went where the 16 year old girls were standing. A woman with white hair and grey skin came on stage. She looked like she was electrified. Her name was Shock, she was new. Autumn laughed a bit "Happy Hunger Games!" She said in her Capitol accent. "May the odds be ever in your favor. We got a video sent from all the way from the Capitol" The same old boring video came. "Ladies first!" She said giggling a bit and went to the ball. She dived through the papers. Her silver with yellow glitter took a paper. She walked back to the microphone and opened the paper before saying "...."

Crystal threw the knife at the target. I haven't been picked yet... She thought. But this year, it'll all change. I entered my name 42 times. And, if I don't get picked, I'll volunteer. Crystal went back into her house. "Hm. At least we're doing better than those other districts. I'm a career. I don't need to be picked. you know what?! I WILL volunteer this year!" Crystal dressed in a light pink, frilly dress and put her hair in a low, side-braid. Then, she put it together to make a beautiful bun! She slipped in a flower-clip, and a diamond necklace. "Perfect!" She exclaimed.

Shiny Jewels was the town's reaper ((idk)). Ack, all my hard work would be WASTED if Opal Falls was picked. She won't even volunteer, because she thinks that'll make her seem "soft". Can't I be picked this year, and not her? Please! She started to take out the girl's name..."And the tribute is...Op--"
"STOP!"
"What is it?"
"I VOLUNTEER AS THE DISTRICT ONE TRIBUTE!"
"Well...okay!"
Opal shot Crystal a dirty look, as she stomped her foot angrily.
"Well, I guess Crystal Crown will be the District One Female Trbute for the 59th Annual Hunger Games!"
The crowd cheered. Crystal smiled, hoping that this will be great!

Iris screamed and threw a knife at the wall, accidentally missing by a centimeter and hitting the window. As the glass shattered, she cursed under her breath and stomped away. "That's something dad will definitely be mad about later. If he even comes home tonight." Her dad was an alcoholic and sometimes ended up sleeping at bars, or friends' houses, or even sometimes on the street. Because he just... passed out there. Iris was already dressed, and had been ready for the reaping for a while, but was dreading it too much to leave. "I guess I better get going now or I'll be late." She tucked her oddly-died pinkish/reddish/purplish hair behind her ear and rolled her eyes, walking out the door. As she made her way to the Reaping, she ran her fingers along a huge scar that was on her arm. A scar that her father had created.

The horn blew. The reaping was about to start.

Alice slowly walked to the reaping place. (forgot what its called. Nice Marshy, nice.) She was the poorest one in District 7 and is probably the weakest fighter to know the world. As she walked in, half the crowd stared at her. She had a ripped skirt and dirt marks all over her face. If she gets picked, her life would be ruined. Of course she wouldn't win. The people took her blood samples and she stood in the crowd. Some kids were crying and some people fainted. She was young, poor, and hopeless.

How could a 9 year old win this?

The woman in a sparkly white wig and WAY too much eye shadow smiled sheepishly and picked out a name from the bowl.

"For District 7.... The female tribute is......"

Dakota woke up, she knew she was running late. She did her makeup, curled her eyelashes, put on mascara, curled her hair, put it in a side braid and put on a cute floral dress, a plain white headband and long boots with nice warm stockings. She walked out of her room and got to the reaping place.

(Marshy you have to be 12-18, just saying u.u)

At the same time the horn blew, Iris had made it to the Reaping. She did the blood samples, then went over to where the rest of the girls were. Mimosa had her hand in one of the big glass balls and was about to call some poor girl's name. "It probably wont be me," Iris assured herself quietly. "I mean, what are the chances? My name is only in there... about... how many times?" Uh oh. Iris had entered her name in many times to get the extra food she needed. I may actually be picked this time. But, instead of saying "Iris Knightly", (yes I gave her a last name) Mimosa happily chirped the name of Iris's best friend. "Carly Sterling!" Carly stood there in shock as almost everyone began to volunteer for her. After all, 2 WAS a career district. "No! I-I volunteer. I volunteer as tribute!" The words just flew out of Iris's mouth without her even thinking about it. The racket quieted down as Mimosa raised her hand to her forehead, obviously exhausted already! But, she tried to sound cheerful as she said, "Alright, Iris Knightly, get up here!" Iris awkwardly made her way through the crowd and walked up onto the stage.

After the introduction, the escort, slowly stuck their hand in the glass ball. Calmly drawling their hand out, the escort started to read out the name that was chosen.
"Arrietty." The escorts voice rang out loud, the crowd went silent, everyone's eyes averted to the child. Her face twisted in horror, her hand clenched in terror, as she was lead up to the front. Her fate was sealed. She was doomed. A girl of only 12 years old, what chance did she have to win?

[I never read the books nor watched the movie. I hope I am doing this right]

Emi was sitting underneath a tree, enjoying the cool shade it was providing for her. She was the 'silent girl' of District 4, since she never talked much. She was about to doze off when a horn blared.

It was time for the reaping.

A horn blared, suggesting the reaping to begin. He was dressed in nice(ish) clothing, not because he wanted to, but he absolutely despised being stared at like he was less important than others because he wasn't dressed as well. It's not like he cared, well- Maybe he did. He'd never admit it, though.
Rushing to the reaping, he stared as district 4's assigned reaper? Leader? he didn't really care. A man called Charm. What the hell? Well, whatever.
"Hello, pretties!" He said, booming and energized. As if for them to get excited. And they did. District four, full of idiotic career tributes. He couldn't help but almost squirm as he saw the happy faces in the crowd. Gross. He was much more elite than them. Obviously, haha.
"Welcome to the Hunger games!" He laughed. What. After dull explaining, the man got up and said. "Now, to reap."
"Ladies first, as always..."

Crystal walked slowly over to Shiny. "Hey, um, so when am I gonna 'officially' meet Carot?" Carot was the District 1 Male Tribute. "Well, he's coming in right now." The double-doors opened to reveal a dark-blonde-haired boy. He was very muscular, and had a nice figure. He was thin, but not too thin. "I'm Carot. You must be Crystal." He answered. "Yeah...so, we're gonna be partners?" Crystal asked, shyly. Oh my gosh, I think I'm into him! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER, CRYSTAL!!!! "Well," Carot replied, "If you think of it that way."

Emi rushes to the reaping, not wanting to waste any time. She didn't care on how she was dressed. She was dressed in her tomboyish clothes. Well, whatever. As long as people weren't staring at her, she doesn't care. She rolls her eyes as the District 4... 'leader'... was speaking.

Charm smiled. "Melissa Evans has been chosen as the female tribute in this years hunger games!" Oh boy, the volunteers were already coming in. Melissa Evans was a slick thin girl with curly brown hair and a beauty mark on her face, very rememberable, mostly for her lack of fishing skills. He'd seen her a few times. He said nothing.
"Mmm, many volunteers.. Who will it be?"
((also your tribute volunteers and has TRAINED!!!! she obviously WANTS this, so dont act that annoyed, Emi. anyway this is your cue to volunteer)

"I volunteer as tribute!" Emi shouts above the crowd. I have trained for this moment. If I have to volunteer I don't care.

Dakota stood in the crowd, as lonely as ever. After all, she barely had any friends. They said her heart was as cold as ice, she was the victim of severe gossiping and backstabbing, many rumors were spread around her, but all of this made her so sad. She saw her friend Rayne sit below a tree. A lady, with short pink hair and amazingly pale skin who wore too much makeup, which was a bad attempt to cover the wrinkles on her face, smiled a smile she could recognize. She wasn't up to anything good, not at all. Her point was proven very soon. "Lets get right to it!" The woman said with a screechy, high voice. "Ladies first!" She continued, putting her hand into the container, where her hot pink nails reached to a paper. She took it out, unfolded it, and her mouth opened, forming a cheerful smile. "Rayne Hopkins!" The lady yelled out. Rayne stood up in shock, suddenly grabbed by both shoulders, by Dakota. "Don't do it.." She whispered. But it was too late. Dakota had gotten herself into a big mess. "I volunteer as a tribute!" She yelled. Gasps were heard. Everyone stared at her. Dakota wanted to take that back. Immediately. "Good! Dakota Marbles is now the female tribute. Now, we shall get onto the male tribute."

" Autumn Dawn" Shock said. Autumn stood there still. People stared at her. The girls started making a path for her. Autumn slowly moved to the stage " come here young lady" Autumn climbed the stairs and sat silent as ever. " Now for the boys!" Shock said walked to the boy's ball. She did the same thing before and came back to the microphone. She opened the paper saying " Sameul Waters" . There was a guy with black hair and blue sea eyes standing in the middle. Boys made a path for him. Sameul walked to the stage. He stood in front of me " Now shake hands!" Shock said cheerfully. Autumn stared at Samuels eyes and he did the same. They shook hands and Shock said "Happy Hunger Games! And May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor" then they got pushed into different rooms.

"Congratulations." Alder said to Iris as she walked past, then turned his attention back to Mimosa as she read...

"Alder Flint"

Alder drove his fist into the air, laughing. Finally, this was his chance to win! He strode confidently up to the stage next to Iris. "Any volunteers?" Mimosa chirped. There were none, to Alder's relief. No one wanted to steal his glory. "Happy Hunger Games!" Mimosa said finally, literally shoving Iris and Alder's hands together. "We're going to make a great team. I just know it." Alder whispered to Iris as they were pushed towards the Justice Building.

Autumn sat on the chair, staring out of the window. Her face showed no emotions. She heard the door open, which caused her to turn her head quickly to the door. She saw her small sister Lily. Autumn stood up and hugged Lily ,who was crying "Don't cry , Lily" Autumn cooed. Her mother came inside and engulfed Autumn in a big hug. Her mother started crying again "Promise me you will survive" Her mom sobbed "I can't.But I promise you I can try" "You could do it. Just hide most of the time" Her mother told her pulling away from the hug and stared at Autumn's eyes. Autumn nodded. Peacekeepers came and dragged them out.

The Justice Building of District 2 was nicer inside than it looked on the outside. Alder sat crosslegged in his chair, examining a crack in the wall until a peacekeeper informed him his sister was here. Rowan practically knocked Aldren out of his seat, laughing and crying at the same time. "I knew it would be you!" she said, wiping her eyes on the corner of her sleeve. "Mom told me to wish you luck, but I don't think you need it. You can win. I know you can win. Can you?" Alder sat up and looked his sister in the eye. "Don't worry about it. I'll kill them all if I have to. I just hope it's not a forested arena." The peacekeeper at the door gestured for Rowan to leave, and she did. In an hour Aldren would be on his way to the Capitol.
