The 57th Hunger Games! { RP}

"I don't get along with cocky, sadistic people." Klytie said, aiming her trident at a bird that was gliding through the air. She threw it, getting the bird right in the neck.

Court seemed impressed with Klytie. "Great job!"

"Thanks." Smilied Klytie, jogging to the bird. She pulled her trident out of it's tiny body, gripping it in her hand as she walked back to Clara and Court.

"Klytie.. there's something I got to do. Come with me if you won't get emotional." He whispered, gripping the blood-red berry behind his back.

"Ok." Klytie replied, flipping her trident over her shoulder as she throws the dead bird up at Clara.

"You promise?" Court asked, looking into Klytie's eyes.

"Yes. I promise." Klytie replies, getting quite impatient.

"Okay then. Follow me." He said, walking to somewhere else in the woods. He climbed up a tree and sat on a branch, gesturing for Klytie to sit next to him.

Dixie ate some of her meat, and saves the rest for tomorrow. She relaxes by the fire. She has her knife by her side. You'll never if someone will come out and attack you.

Rather than climbing her usual way, Klytie jumped grabbing one of the branches. Then, she eventually made her way up to Court, and sat next to him. "What?" She asked.

He took out the thick berry and dropped it on the ground. "Get your trident ready, it's hunting time." He said.

"What the heck?" Klytie said, positioning her trident anyway. "What're you doing?"

"When the animals come, make sure you throw your trident at the biggest one of them all." A small animal devoured the berry and multiple animals came after it and ate the small animal. The biggest one of them was a black wolf. "Kill that one!"

Dixie heard something hit the ground. She turns her head around to see a thick red berry. She ignores it. She remembers seeing those kinds of berries back at District 12. And they were one of those poisonous berries.

It didn't take long for the animals to appear and start fighting over each for the berry. Dixie scrambled up to her feet and runs a fair distance away from the animals. As she turned around to see how far she has gone, she heard a voice coming from the tree.

Obeying Court's orders, Klytie sends the trident into the wolf's neck.

"Good job." Court said. As the mob disappeared, he slithered down the tree and smiled at the dead animal. "As dead as.. meat." He said, and laughed.

Dixie rolls her eyes as she heard the other tribute's lame joke. She walks back over to her campfire and gathers her things. She'll be doing some walking to get as far away as possibly from the others.

"I'll get it." Klytie said, pulling her trident out of the corpse. She then flipped the wolf over her shoulder, using her other hand to grasp the trident. "Let's go."

Court smiled and walked back to camp. "How long have we been in the Games? I'd say 3 or 4."

"I don't wanna think about it." Klytie said, a little ruder than she intended.

Court sighed and climbed up the trees. "Follow me, Klytie, to our hideout."

"What about Clara and that other guy from 1?" Klytie asked, hauling herself up the tree. "Not like I care about her." She quickly added, twirling her braid on her finger.

"Oh, they have the lower place. They don't know about this. But ours is much better and safer." Court said. Quickly, he climbed up the tree and hopped to the one next to it. Then he climbed up higher and they arrived.

It had a floor of multiple branches very close together, which had a good amount of space. It was well covered by a roof of thick leaves that were about 3 meters off the ground. There were pieces of dry grass scattered around the ground. It had a perfect view down to the forest and was very close to the river. "Be careful. There are some holes on the ground, so watch your step." He sat down, legs crossed. "Can you believe this is natural? Well, almost. I filled out some of the floor with branches. I saw this some time ago when we were walking.. That's why I suggested the Career hangout to be near here."

"Are we..ditching them?" Klytie asked, quite surprised. She followed Court, then sat down, adjusting the bandages around her skull. They were drenched in red. She winced.

"No, we'll go back to them.. at night, we just sleep with them for a while and come here at night.. then we sleep here, wake up early and go back to them. Then, later, we go 'hunting' and come here. If there are any resources in here we want to keep for both of us only, we put it up here and.. yeah." Court said, proud of he's idea. "I don't want to sound greedy or selfish, but this is how the Games go."
