The Coldharts - RP [Remade]

Kristara felt the raindrops pound on top of her and the wind blow in her face. Flipping and spinning in the air, she saw Natallie walk into the house. Kristara quickly formed a quiet dive to make sure she didn't notice her, but still fell with a loud sploosh.

Natalie raised her right eyebrow at Kristara, making sure the door was shut before pulling her now soaking wet shawls off and tossing it into the trash. " I need to learn to stop paying so much for such cheap and delicate shawls.. She muttered to herself, forgetting about Kirstara for amount. When she re-noticed her, she seen her on the ground. " What the heck are you doing?" She asked.

Kristara climbed out of the water, soaking wet. Luckily, the key was still in her pocket. Motioning Natalie to follow her, she ran up the spiral staircase and entered her room, opening the door to the balcony.

Kristara climbed on to the fence on the balcony, and motioned Natalie to come over and jump. She was pretty sure Natalie wouldn't do it, but still tried to beckon her over and jump.

After Narcisa heard Kristara leave the room, and only the heavens knew how the poo insane girl did, Narcisa shrugged and resumed walking to the west parlor. She was upset that things were so boring. When she had been younger, about the age of 5, this mansion had been buzzing with activity. At the time most , if not all, of the Coldharts had resided here. Now though? Now only some of the most insane, addicted, ludicrous, and malevolent Coldharts lived here. And she was one of them. What had changed? Where was everyone else?

"Most likely dead," she whispered, sweeping her thoughts back into the abyss.

Kristara snapped herself back to reality. Okay, me, stop being insane and act like the half intelligent person I am, she thought to herself. She climbed down the fence on the balcony and shivered. She was freezing, and hoped Natalie didn't think she was insane, but Kristara knew Natalie probably thought a person who would jump from the balcony on the top floor was clearly a psycho. Kristara dug into her pocket, hoping the key was still there. It was. With a sigh of relief, she looked at Natalie. She was soaking wet from the rain.

Matt stalked out into the rain. He always kind of liked rain, he found it vaguely calming. He had left his card in his room, not wanting to risk damaging it if he wasn't even planning on using it. He reached up with one hand to take a dead leaf of a tree. He was completely alone for what seemed to be the first time in weeks, away from the dusty house and insane relatives. Nothing he had to be paying attention to or trying to avoid.

Kristara's hair was dripping and her clothes started to stick to her body. She went into the bathroom and changed into clean clothes. She looked out on the balcony and watched someone walk around in the rain. The wind began to blow harder and the water came pounding down a mile a minute. The light in her room flickered a bit. A power outtage. Those are fun, Kristara thought, smiling. Knowing the house's past, it was quite old and the wires were weak, and had a power outtage at least every storm. She loved playing erie music on her violin during power outtages because it fit the mood perfectly, but it seemed to scare the little ones quite a bit.

Victoria was reading an old book in her room when her lights started flickering, and then it went out. Fricking power outtage. It's storming outside anyway. I wish I had a flashlight so that I can keep reading.

Kristara's eyes filled with delight as the lights dimmed and the house was dark and cold. Lighting struck outside, and using the light it created, she found her violin and bow. The floorboards creaked under her feet, and Kristara began to play creepy music that could scare the living daylights out of anyone.

Natalie shook her head, feeling some of the droplets that were on her hair fall to her back, making their way down her dress. She grit her teeth, trying to ignore the freezing cold water. " I'd better go get changed," She mumbled to herself, turning and making her way to her room. " I don't want to catch the flu." When Natalie reached her room, she un-zipped the long, blue gown, pulling it down her legs. She was left in her purple undergarments, and she quickly folded the dress and put it on top of her closet. " I'd better get you to the cleaners soon." She said aloud, to herself. She pulled out a long, orange dress with lace trimming and three roses on the neck collar and a piece of white silk wrapped around the waist. She changed into orange undergarments, then pulled up the dress. Her hair was fine, so she pulled out the red roses and diamond " thing" that wrapped around her black sock bun, and blow tried the bun. Then, she put three orange roses in her hair, but fist wrapped the diamond bracelet all the way around the bun. Before leaving, she applied a new coat of red lipstick to her lips, leaving the rest of her flawless-acne free skin bare. Smiling, she trudged out of her room, but quickly transformed back into her lady-like walk down the stairs, her Queen of Spades in hand. When she reached downstairs, she picked a book about Mount Olympus from the large, dusty wooden book shelf, and settled down on the leather couch, reading as she listened to the pouring rain.

Lilliet was watching her TV while petting her cat Paws. Paws purred as she ran her fingers through his short fur, while watching a movie in her couch. "Paws, look! It's me! That was my 1st appearance on a movie, ever!"  Lilliet said. Her sock bun, tightly securded by pins bounced up and down as Lilliet rocked her head side to side in emotion.

Natalie flipped the crispy pages of the book, trying to ignore the pondering rain. Eventually, she grew aggravated, and slammed the book closed, caressing the red-leather cover with her hands. Finally, she set the book onto the glass coffee-table, sitting back into the white-leather couch. She adjusted her dress, and starred into distance, her hands in her lab as her silky gloves collided with the rough fabric of her orange dress.

Lilliet smiled as her character appeared over and over. Leon, the man she was engaged to, was travelling because of work, so Lilliet was alone. She took out her phone, the newest one available, and called the Coldharts mansion, wondering who would pick up. It was a rainy day so going in the pool wasn't a good idea, and Milo and Chase (the husky dogs) are soaking wet and so will I be if I try to play with them. She heard the phone beep, and waited.

Lilliet waited until a voice popped up. "We are sorry. This phone is not available right now. Please call later." Lilliet sighed. She looked around and took out her card and went to the future.

 Matt looked at the house, watching all the lights in the windows flicker and die. He really hadn't noticed how hard it had been raining, he was too lost in his own thoughts. It didn't really matter, anyway. He his jacket stick to his skin, and he pulled his hood over his already drenched hair. It didn't do much good, but he had no intent of going back inside so it didn't matter. There was no point in hanging out in that dusty old house when he didn't need to, and he wasn't really worried about contracting the flu or whatever. He could handle it, a couple hours of quiet was totally worth it.

Kristara finished the song she was playing. The rain was still going strong, and she was getting bored of playing her violin. Putting down the instrument, she went into thebathroom and dug into the pocket of her wet pants and found the key to the attic. Maybe I can find a lantern somewhere. But there's no way I'm going to the past to get one. she thought, walking into the hallway, passing places where no one would usually go. She felt the string of a bulkhead and took her key out of her pocket. Feeling for a keyhole, she placed her key in the hole and pulled the string. The door bounced open and Kristara walked up the stairs. She felt around for an old lantern and finally felt a handle, and some dusty glass. Feeling for a knob, she found it and twisted it, creating a small light, and flickering. Kristara found some old lantern light bulbs and fixed the lantern up. She closed the bulkhead door, and locked it. She turned the light up on the lantern and started to explore.

Narcisa grumbled as the lights flickered out. Her eyes had trouble adjusting so she decided it wouldn't hurt to use her hands to see. She could vaguely hear the song of a violin and she unconsciously smirked hearing it. Finally she found the stairs and began to carefully climb down them, but she stopped as her head throbbed from the pain of her hangover. She grunted and unhappily sat on the steps rubbing her temples vigorously.

Matt looked down at his watch, wiping a few raindrops off the surface. 10:45 PM wasn't that bad at all. He'd apparently only been out a couple hours, he was confident he'd suffer no ill effects if he stayed out a few hours later. The lights didn't appear to have gone back on, anyway. Even if he did go back inside he'd probably end up crashing down the stairs blindly and breaking a bone or two, which would be a lot worse in the long run than a little cold. Matt looked up at the sky one more time, he was barely able to make out a full moon between the clouds.

Kristara shone her light through the window of the attic. She could see someone walk around in the dark, stormy night, however it seemed that the person was too faint to identify. Hoping her lantern light isn't noticed, she shines it over to a granfather clock in the corner of the room. The time was 10:50 PM, and the rain didn't show any sign of stopping. Finding a bunch of boxes, she sits on them and soon falls asleep with her lantern light still on.

Narcisa was still suffering on the stairwell. After much thought, and her continuously forcing herself, she finally stood up and briskly got down the stairs. In her pocket she took a few more aspirin out and swallowed them graciously. She then took a right and plumped down into an armchair by a tiny table on the side of the hallway. There was a vase of violets and an elegant painting of one of her many ancestors.

It was starting to dawn on Matt that there was really no reason to stay out anymore. He was already soaked to the bone, and the lights would probably come back on soon once the rain stopped. It didn't look like it was going to, however. Matt slowly made his way back into the house, closing the door slowly to stop it from creaking and waking up any of the younger kids. He shook water out of his shoes and hung up his jacket, walking upstairs making every effort to be light on his feet before noisily crashing into the wall. Matt silently scolded himself for not thinking of bringing a lantern or flashlight or something, feeling his way down the hallway.
