The 57th Hunger Games! { RP}

Klytie raised her eyebrow, then shrugged. "Sure," She said, digging her trident deep into the tree's trunk. She jumped on it, grabbing a thin branch as she dug the trident a bit higher above her head, and jumped on it, too. She did this until she was next to Court.

"See, the berry will attract some sort of animal sooner or later. We stay up here for safety. Then, we watch the animal.. if it doesn't die, it must be safe to eat." Court explained. He dropped a couple more berries and wrapped his legs around the branch.

"What if the gamemakers trick us with an animal immune to poisonous fruits?" Klytie said, sounding paranoid as she ran her fingers down her scars.

"I'm no animal, so I'll try it before you then." Court said, showing how much he cared. A small creature walked up to the berry and took a bite. Before a lot of time, multiple creatures, of different colors and sizes, attacked the small animal and left him dead. "It seems to attract creatures. Glad we didn't eat them, or else we would get chased."

Klytie watched in shock. "Poor thing.." She said, tears in her eyes, thinking about when they were poor, how her older siblings would beat her and attack her for her stashes of food.

The creature's barely unrecognized chest was pointing up. His bones were visible, ripped muscles were found and a few pieces of flesh were stuck in their place. It was a bloody mess. Court grabbed Klytie by the shoulder and gave her a hug. "Don't worry." He whispered. "I've got a good idea!"

Before long, Tears were streaming down Klytie's eyes. "Y-you don't get it!" She sobbed, turning away from Court and rubbing her hand down the rough surface of the tree's trunk.

"What." Court said. "What don't I get? Klytie.. whatever you're crying about.. I know it's important. But.. now is not the time. Please don't cry."

Frustrated, Klytie jumped down from the tree. Her sadness was filled with anger. "SO WHAT IF OTHER PEOPLE COME!? HUH?! WE'RE KILLERS, COURT. THAT'S HOW WERE RAISED, AND THAT'S WHO WE ARE! SADISTIC, VIOLENT, BLOOD-THIRSTY KILLING MACHINES!" Klytie yelled.

Court placed his hand on Klytie's mouth before she could finish. "Don't say that." He said. "We're not machines." He said. "You should shut your mouth before the GMs try to get rid of you." He whispered into her ear. Then he took Klytie into his strong grip and squeezed her in a sort of hug way.

"WELL IT'S TRUE! LET THEM GET RID OF ME! I'VE BEEN TRAINING SINCE I WAS FIVE! I'M SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYING WITH DOLLS, NOT BEING IN A TRAINING ROOM 3 HOURS A DAY THROWING TRIDENTS AT DUMMIES!" Klytie squirmed an yelled.

Court went down the tree, with Klytie in his hands. "Shut.. up." He whispered, covering her mouth and pressing back as hard as possible.

Klytie bit Court's finger, hopping he'd loosen his grip.

Court bit his lip but held his grip. He even tightened it. "Klytie, silence." He said. "We must get moving, or else they might find us." He said.

"LET ME GO!" Klytie thrashed.

Court looked at Klytie and threw her down to the ground gently. Then he sat on top of Klytie. "I'm not letting you go until you calm down." He said.

"GET OFF OF ME!" Klytie was screaming her head off now, attempting to smack Court with her trident.

Court used his knife and dug it into the ground, just over the top of Klytie's head, missing on purpose. "Calm.. down."

"MAYBE I WILL IF YOU LEAVE ME THE HECK ALONE AND GET OFF ME! YOU'RE NOT MY BROTHER!" Klytie hissed, using her hand to smack the knife away from her.

Court pulled out his sword and took it out of Klytie's grip. "Shut up." He said. He picked up Klytie and threw her into the stream. "I've had enough!"

Klytie splashed into the water. She knew how to swim, but she was taking a breath at that time. So, she gobbled up a splash of water. She began coughing and choking, unable to keep herself afloat as she struggled to breath. And, to make things worse, she had hit her head on a rock after thrashing, and knocked herself out. Klytie began to sink to the bottom of the river, a small trail of blood being left behind from the wound in her skull.

Court turned away, unable to look at Klytie. He picked up Klytie's trident and threw it. It landed right next to the stream, not hitting Klytie. He continued walking back into camp, and stared into Clara's eyes. "Where's- no way.." Clara said. "Yes." Court said. "I did it. But I'm not proud."

Klytie continued to float down into the river, dizzy. All of a sudden, she regained consciousness. She popped her eyes open, ignoring the pounding pain in her head. She was soaking wet. Hopefully, her supplies would be okay. She began to flawlessly swim back up. When she reached the top, she gulped air in, wheezing as she pulled her soaking body onto the land, wrapping herself around her trident as half her body was still in the stream. The scars on her face were itchy and peeling now, and she clung onto her trident for dear life as one thought occupied her mind-

Court tried to kill me.

Clara's eyes widened. "Great job! I thought I was going to have to get rid of her." She said. Court looked down at his hands, showing a slight bit of pain. "I-i didn't want to.. it's just.. she wouldn't ever shut up!" He said. He eyed his sword. "Do you want me to go finish her off?" Clara asked. "No - let her live." Court said. He picked up his sword. "Let's get going. She's alive and she knows our hiding place."

{Well, this sucks. LOL.}

Klytie sat up, falling back into the river. Her blonde braids were now drenched in a faint, red blood, and she scrambled out of the river. She crawled, with trident in arm, to a tree. She struggled to climb it. Finally, she did, and she rested inside the tree- It was thick and hand a hollow centre. Perfect camp. It was also concealed by the large branches and leaves. Klytie rested on some of the dead leaves inside of it, uses her backpack as a pillow.

"He tried to kill me..I trusted him..I trusted him! Maybe I should just die.." Klytie said, caressing her scars with her hand as she opened her pack, wrapping her head in the bandages from her first aid kit. Soon, they were red. She kept them on, anyway, because they seemed to be somewhat working.
